Common questions

How does the app decide my next workout?

It follows fixed training rules and the sets you log. When you reach the top of your rep range on every working set, the next session moves you up to the next load your equipment can make. If that load would be too big a jump, or your equipment has no heavier one, the next session asks for one more rep instead. When you fall short, the load holds. The last week of each training block is lighter, so you recover before the next block. The app shows the reason for each change.

What equipment do I need?

Only what you already have. You tell the app what you train with, from a full gym to a few pieces of equipment at home, and it plans exercises for that equipment and rounds every load to one you can set up. You can add more than one training location, such as home and the gym, each with its own equipment. If something is missing on a given day, change that day’s equipment, and the session adjusts to what is there.

Can I swap an exercise?

Yes. You can replace an exercise in a workout, and the app suggests alternatives for the equipment you have.

Can I log a workout without an internet connection?

Yes. What you log is saved on your device first and syncs with your account when you are back online.

Can I use the app on more than one device?

Yes. Sign in to the same account on each device, and your plan and your workouts sync between them.

Can I use pounds or kilograms?

Both. During setup, the app suggests a unit from your phone’s region settings, for example pounds in the United States and kilograms in Germany or Japan, and you choose the one you want. You can change it in the app’s settings at any time.

Which languages does the app support?

English, Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil), German, French, Japanese, and Italian. The app follows the language of your phone. To use another language for the app only, choose it for the app in your phone’s settings, on iPhone, on iPad, and on Android 13 or later.

Which phones and tablets can run the app?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later, and Android phones and tablets with Android 9 or later.

Does the app give medical advice?

No. FitTune provides fitness programming and education, and it is not a medical device. If a movement hurts, you can leave that type of movement out of your plan in the app, and you should ask a doctor or another qualified professional for advice.

Account help

How do I sign in?

With Sign in with Apple, with your Google account, or with a 6-digit code that we email to you. Use the same method each time, so you always reach the same account.

I did not get my sign-in code

Check your spam or junk folder for an email from an address at auth.fittune.app. Each code works once and stops working 10 minutes after it is sent, so request a new code if yours has expired.

I chose Hide My Email with Sign in with Apple

Then your account uses a private relay address from Apple instead of your own email address. Keep signing in with Apple to reach your account. When you write to us about the account, include the relay address. Your iPhone’s Settings show it under Sign in with Apple, in the entry for FitTune.

Data and privacy

The privacy policy explains what the app and this website collect, why, where it is stored, and how long it is kept. In short:

  • We do not sell your data, and the app shows no ads.
  • The app uses no advertising identifier and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
  • This website sets no cookies and counts visits without identifying you.
  • You decide whether the app may send notifications, and you can turn them off in your phone’s settings at any time.

To get a copy of your data or to correct it, write to support@fittune.app from the email address of your account.

Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your account and its data without the app: write to support@fittune.app from the email address of your account, and confirm when we reply. The account deletion page lists the steps, what is deleted, what is kept and for how long, and how long deletion takes.

Fix a problem in the app

  • Check that your phone or tablet runs iOS 18, iPadOS 18, or Android 9 or later, and update the app to its latest version from the App Store or Google Play.
  • Close the app completely, then open it again.
  • If a workout does not appear on another device, check that both devices are online and signed in to the same account. Changes you make offline stay on the device until it is back online, and the app shows when a change is still waiting to sync.
  • If the problem stays, write to support@fittune.app with the model of your phone or tablet, its system version, the app version, and what happened. A screenshot helps.
